WILLIAM BRAND AND ANNET VAN EGMOND

BRAND VAN EGMOND® was founded in 1989 by two independent artists, William Brand and Annet van Egmond, with the sole intention of creating art without constraints and until today they still lead their studio. William Brand (Alphen, 1963) and Annet van Egmond (Leiden, 1964) met at the Utrecht School of Arts in The Netherlands. Both graduated there; William as an architect and Annet as a sculptor. They are two pioneering artists, with a passion for objects and design.

Autonomy remains at the very core of their artistic and personal existence. A mix of affection for craftsmanship, love of experimenting with new materials and techniques and respect for times gone by result in innovative designs by their hand. This results in yearly launches of new collections. Their handcrafted lighting sculptures radiate passion and emotion, and leave a longlasting impression.
