On November 12th the first BRAND VAN EGMOND book ‘Lighting Sculptures’ has successfully and internationally been launched at the beautiful Trespa Design Centre in Soho, New York. Press and other relations were present and received the first copies of the book. Special thanks go to David McFadden, Chief Curator and Vice President of the Museum of Arts & Design in New York, who joined Annet van Egmond in the presentation. The new book is now available in bookstores worldwide.
During the Woonbeurs on Monday, 28th of September, at a joint presentation of BRAND VAN EGMOND and Philips the new art book 'Lighting Sculptures' of BRAND VAN EGMOND was handed out to Allard Bijlsma, CEO of Philips Consumer Luminaires. The book was presented to the national press and to special guests. After the presentation all the guests got a free copy of the book ‘Lighting Sculptures’ from BRAND VAN EGMOND. The guests also had a chance to win a free exclusive lighting sculpture called COCO from the new collection of BRAND VAN EGMOND. The winner of the COCO is: Lisette Billekens of Billekens Licht en Advies in Nuenen During the Stylists Day on the 28th of September, stylists could win a steel rose of from the La Vie en Rose collection of BRAND VAN EGMOND. The winner is of the steel rose is: Karin van der Meer from Enjoy Inhouse Design Congratulations!
To celebrate the 20 year anniversary BRAND VAN EGMOND has composed an art book called ‘BRAND VAN EGMOND Lighting Sculptures’. This private album gives an overview of 20 years of passion, inspiration and artistic design. The book shows the artistic development of William Brand and Annet van Egmond, from the early start until now. This personal album gives insight into their methods of working, inspirations, motivations and passions. It is a beautifully illustrated book about the world and work of the two passionate artists, with the central theme: light is emotion. On November 12th the book ‘Lighting Sculptures’ will have it’s international launch in the Trespa Design Centre in Soho, New York, during the New York art & culture event ‘5 Dutch Days'.
